IoT · Route optimisation
Kanta — Smart Bin
Smart waste containers for a municipal utility. An ESP32 with an ultrasonic sensor measures fill level and streams it over WebSocket to a live map of Sarajevo, and the system computes the shortest route through only the bins that are actually full.
- Hardware I assembled and programmed myself — ESP32 + sensor on a power bank
- Route optimisation: greedy TSP then a 2-opt improvement pass, with OSRM navigation
- Live fill updates with debounce and hysteresis to stop reading flicker
- Trucks only collect full bins — fewer kilometres, less fuel

I'm Zlatan — a full-stack developer and digital strategist from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I started out building websites for clients, and today I build complete products: SaaS platforms, mobile apps, and even IoT hardware when the problem calls for it.
